We had another good week for our picks last week. Good thing we are building up a good record now so that hopefully we can finish with a winning record this year.
In the first game LSU pretty much had their way with Florida as predicted. Final score LSU 41 Florida 11. Picks 1-0 for the week.
The second game was the easiest game to pick last week. There was no way that Texas was going to be able to keep up with Oklahoma. Final score Oklahoma 55 Texas 17. Picks for the week 2-0
In the final pick for last week we had the most uncertainty about the outcome but that turned out to be unfounded. Arkansas took care of business. Final score Arkansas 38 Auburn 14 making the picks for the week 3-0
Going 3-0 for the week takes us to 13-3 for the season. Doing well for the mid point of the season.
This week we have 4 games of ranked teams with some difficult picks again.
In the first game we have (6) Oklahoma St at (22) Texas – Oklahoma St. just has too much fire power and Texas started what will be a big slide for them last week. Texas will have trouble scoring and stopping Oklahoma St. from scoring. Final score Oklahoma St. 38 Texas 10
In the second game we have (18) Arizona St at (9) Oregon – Even with out their big gun LaMichael James Oregon is going to put up some big numbers. Arizona St. is having a great season and a loss at Oregon will be nothing to hang their heads low about. This will be a close game but I am giving Oregon the edge since they are playing at home. Final score Oregon 42 Arizona St. 28
The third game is a big rivalry game with (11) Michigan at (23) Michigan St – Michigan St. is still upset about comments that Michael Hart said a few years ago calling them Michigan’s little brother. Michigan is not as good as its 6-0 record even though they are much improved over last year. Michigan St. has a lot to prove after their crazy loss to Notre Dame earlier in the season. This game all comes down to can Michigan State contain Denard Robinson. Robinson has shown that we will make some mistakes. In this game if he throws some picks it will be much harder to come back from. Look for Michigan State to pound Robinson. Final score Michigan St. 28 Michigan 24
In the final game we have (20) Baylor at (21) Texas A&M – Baylor has not had a good record against Texas A&M over the last 20 years losing 19 of those games. This year things are going to be different. Baylor has the QB to take it to the Texas A&M defense which has not showed that they can stop any team this year. Final score Baylor 38 Texas A&M 27
