Anyone who is a Big Ten fan at all knows that league play kicks off today, and they know that today’s big game is on ABC at 3:30pm ET, when the #24 Spartans face off against the #11 Badgers. This game is likely to be a battle to the end, with 2 good teams slugging it out.
It’s in East Lansing & Coach Dantonio will be back, coaching from the press box, which is a definite advantage for MSU. The Spartans have a 27-21 edge over the Badgers & have won their last 2 home games against them, however the Badgers have won 6 of the last 9 games in the series.
If MSU is to come out on top in this game, they must limit penalties (11 in 3 of 4 games so far this year), they must step up the pass rush, and they must make sure Kirk Cousins has the type of passing game that he had against Northern Colorado.
This should be some great smash mouth football today & a fun game to watch!
