There are only two match ups of ranked teams this week.  They are both huge games that will play a roll in who will be playing for the BCS Championship.  Both games will be played in the Midwest about 300 miles apart.  Both games are at 3:30 PM (EDT) so get your clicker ready to do some channel changing or add a second TV to enhance your viewing pleasure.

(5) Michigan St at (18) Iowa – This game has the makings of a drop down drag out fight from the Big 10 of old.  Michigan State seems to have become a team of destiny.  They really have the look and feel of the Ohio State Championship team of 2002.  No one seems to think that they can do it and predicts that they will lose every week.  This team has had so much to rally around and so much to play for.  If they can win this game they should be able to finish the season with out a loss giving them every opportunity to make it to the championship game. Iowa is a good team that has been a victim of its coaching staff.  They really should be undefeated at this point how ever a slow start at Arizona State and clock mismanagement agains Wisconsin doomed them.  I don’t see Iowa being able to overcome the little problems that they have to beat a Michigan State teams playing for history.  Michigan State 31 Iowa 24

(6) Missouri at (14) Nebraska – Last week Missouri won one of the biggest games in it’s history last week in knocking off the Number one Sooners.  They will have to watch for a let down against a Nebraska team that has one loss this year.  Missouri has been great on the road this year how ever they do have trouble against Nebraska when playing in Lincoln.  With Nebraska still trying to prove itself in its last year in the Big 12 I see Nebraska pulling out a close one against Missouri.  Nebraska 35 Missouri 33
