This week there are four match ups of ranked teams.

(8) Nebraska at (19) Texas A&M – Texas A&M is having a fine season and after starting out the Big 12 season with three straight losses has won four in a row. Winning big in all of them including an impressive 33-19 win over Oklahoma.  This is where there streak will end.  Nebraska had its best defensive performance in years last week and will continue today.  Nebraska 38 Texas A&M 17

(9) Ohio St at (20) Iowa  – This game is it for Iowa.  With three losses on the season their hopes of a Big 10 title are over.  They can how ever play spoiler and prevent Ohio State from winning or tieing for their 6th straight Big 10 title.  If this game was in Columbus I would not give Iowa a chance to win.  Since it is in Iowa City not only do I give them a chance but I think that they will pull out any and all tricks.  Iowa has nothing to lose and everything to gain by going all out against Ohio State.  If Ohio State starts out the way they did against Penn State this game could get ugly early.  Iowa 27 Ohio State 24

(13) Arkansas at (21) Miss. St – Ryan Mallett will have a field day with the Mississippi State Defense.  I don’t see the Mississippi State Defense being able to stop him.  Arkansas has only lost to Auburn and Alabama and they put up a good fight in both games.  Arkansas 42 Mississippi State 27

(16) Virginia Tech at (24) Miami (FL) – Other than the first two games of the season Virginia Tech is having a great season.  If they beat Miami they will win the ACC Coastal Division and play in the ACC championship game for the third time in four years.  This should be a hard hitting game.  I don’t see Miami being able to keep up with Virginia Tech.  It will be close Virginia Tech 28 Miami 27
