Lions fall apartLions fall apart again.  The Lions temped the Detroit faithful again taking a 17 – 10 lead in to the locker room at half time.  If anything is consistent it is that the Lions will fall apart time after time.  This game went very similar to how the Lions season has gone.  At one point the Lions were 3-3-1 and looking like they were going to make a push for the playoffs.  Then they had to play their next five games.  All those games turned into losses.  The Lions are on a five game losing streak.  Two teams have worse losing streaks the Giants and the Bengals.  Both of those teams were expected to be as bad as they are.

One of three teams to Lead In Every Game

The Lions are one of three teams that have had the lead in every game they have played this year.  With the other two teams being the 49ers and the Chiefs.  The difference of course is that both of those teams are in position for a playoff spot.  What is shows for the Lions fall apart in every game and find new ways to lose.  It does not seem to matter if they are playing a good team or a bad team.  It is just what the Lions do. It seems that Lions fans are used to it now and have just accepted that this is what their team will be.

Backup David Blough great game wasted

Back up David Blough put up some pretty good numbers for only finding out he would be starting a few days ago.  While the numbers Blough put up were not out of this world they were decent and put the Lions in a position to win this game.  Blough went 22/38 for 280 yard with 2 touchdowns and 1 interception.  On the other side of the ball the Detroit defense got burned by Mitchell Trubisky With Trubisky going 29/38 for 338 yards 3 touchdown and 1 interception.  The Detroit defense my have helped Trubisky save his job.  Before this game he was on shaky ground and a lot of rumblings that this would be his last season with the Bears.

The Lions fall apart it seems to never fail

It does not seem to matter how well the Lions play.  There will always be a section of the team that let them down.  The Lions offence with an undrafted free agent at quarterback were able to move the ball and put up some points against one of the best defenses in the league.  This loss was not on the offense;  This loss goes on the Detroit defense for making an average at best Bears offense look like world beaters in the second half.
