With all the changing conference nonsense that is going on it’s pretty hard to sort out what really serves college sports the best. (refer to previous posts!)   However, since it is not going away and the really desireable schools are somewhat limited it would behove each conference to take notice of what is actually going on.  It’s pretty obvious that the Big-12 will soon be defunct!  The SEC (an obnoxious conference at best) fancies itself to be at the top rung of the ladder.  Nothing could be further from the truth.  While they play reasonable football, they are lacking in many other qualities of a top-notch athletic league.  You know them, so no need to go there.  Missouri has let it leak that they will probably end up in the SEC, but really would prefer to join the Big-10 if they could only get an invite.  There is probably only one other school that would make more sense in the Big-10, and that would be Notre Dame.  Simple solution!  Big 10…invite them both!  Do it now, before it is too late!
